Anna works with children, teens, and young professionals. She has a natural ability to connect with clients who are shy, curious, or hesitant about therapy, and she especially enjoys supporting teenage boys and young men who are new to counseling. Anna completed her undergraduate at University of Washington where she was on the crew team.
Anna believes meaningful growth happens within a safe, trusting relationship. She brings creativity, humor, and authenticity into her work to help young people build resilience, strengthen self-esteem, and navigate anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, chronic illness, and life transitions.
With experience in schools and healthcare settings including Children’s Hospital in Oakland, Anna has worked extensively with families managing chronic illness and recent diagnoses. As a trained social worker, she is skilled at complex situations and seeing the big picture, including navigating the unique challenges faced by newcomer and immigrant communities. She is passionate about helping young people feel empowered, understood, and confident in who they are.
Anna practices from a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and family systems lens. She tailors her training to each family’s needs. Anna is an LGBTQ+ affirming provider. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Child-Based Play Therapy (CCPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Anna is accepting clients of all ages for telehealth and in-person sessions with clients in California. Our ASWs like Anna receive weekly supervision from our team of licensed supervisors.
