
Ben Fletcher is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington where he was a four year member of the rowing team. He holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Ben’s experience as a therapist has been in private practice settings in San Francisco and Oakland providing trauma-informed therapy to individuals and couples navigating life changes, substance use issues, relationship dynamics, anxiety and depression. His calm personality is a great match for high achievers of all ages.
Ben creates a calm space with a practical approach where clients learn about themselves. He does well with motivated clients who are ready to shift from awareness of their tendencies to creating lasting change. Ben is a loyal ally for his clients every step of the way.
Ben coached rowing at the University of Washington and has recently been working with the athletes on UC Berkeley men’s team where they learn meditation and mindfulness principles to complement their athletic pursuits.
Ben grew up in the Lamorinda area of the Bay Area and is passionate about giving his energy back to the place where he was raised. When not working, Ben is spending time with his wife and newborn son, playing chess, and cooking. Ben can also be found training for ultra distance trail running races having completed numerous 50 and 100 mile efforts on the trails.
Ben is accepting clients of all ages for telehealth and in-person sessions with clients in California. Our AMFTs like Ben receive weekly supervision from our team of licensed supervisors.
