Erin is a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) who earned her Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health.
Her calm energy, broad perspective, and creative side (painting and dance) make sessions with Erin an enjoyable learning experience.
Erin has experience providing psychotherapy in both higher education and community hospital settings. She completed a post-master’s fellowship at UC Berkeley, where she supported students navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, panic, and crisis. She also offered specialized care to students working through trauma, disordered eating, substance use, and chronic health conditions. As part of UC Berkeley’s Sports Medicine team, Erin provided mental health support to Division I student-athletes.
Prior to her work at Cal, she provided trauma-informed therapy at Boston Medical Center, Boston’s Level I Trauma hospital, serving both local residents and immigrant/refugee populations.
Erin feels deeply privileged to support clients as they explore their identities and develop a stronger sense of self. Her clinical approach is warm, collaborative, and relational. She draws from several evidence-based modalities, including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Feminist Theory.
Erin identifies as a biracial Filipina American. Outside of work, she enjoys expressing her creativity through dance, painting, and baking. You can often find her exploring hiking trails, swimming in natural spots around the Bay Area, and spending meaningful time with friends and loved ones.
Erin is accepting new clients for in-person and telehealth sessions to those residing in California. Our AMFTs like Erin receive weekly supervision from our team of licensed supervisors.
