Katie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of clinical experience working with teenagers, young adults, and adults. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley.

Katie enjoys working with adults and parents as they navigate the many changes and demands that come with relationships, family life, and adulthood. She brings personal insight into the joys and challenges of parenting and understands the importance of creating space for parents to care for themselves while supporting the people they love.

Throughout her career, she has also worked extensively in high schools throughout the East Bay and at UC Berkeley, supporting clients through major life transitions, college and career decisions, anxiety, depression, changing family systems, and questions around sexual orientation and gender identity. Additionally, she has experience supporting clients through sexual trauma, eating disorders, and substance use and addiction.

Katie believes therapy should reflect each person’s unique needs and experiences. For this reason, she takes a personalized approach, using cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and solution-focused techniques. Through this work, Katie helps clients better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and develop the tools they need to move forward.

In addition, as a yoga teacher for over 20 years, Katie brings a deep understanding of the mind-body connection to her clinical work. As a result, she helps clients reconnect with their inner wisdom, become more aware of what they need, and develop a stronger sense of balance and self-understanding.

Katie is accepting clients of all ages for telehealth and in-person sessions with clients in California.
