
Megan Faszer is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Depth Psychotherapy.
Megan has a gentle and understanding demeanor that enables her to build strong therapeutic alliances. She takes a collaborative approach, working closely with individuals and families to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions while addressing their unique needs. Megan deeply enjoys the process of helping each individual cultivate resilience, enhance self-awareness, and foster meaningful growth in their lives.
Megan’s work experience includes both outpatient and intensive care settings, where she has had the privilege of serving diverse populations struggling with depression, anxiety, social skills, body-image, family relationships, and trauma. Through this work, she has developed a specialization and love for working with teenagers and young adults going through life transitions. Megan’s expertise lies in creating a safe and nurturing space for her clients to explore the more difficult aspects of being a young person today.
Megan’s experience includes various modalities such as Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy. Megan is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a frequently recommended brief treatment for trauma.
