Sydney is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from University of San Francisco, and her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle.  

Sydney’s warm personality creates a friendly and supportive space where clients of all ages can feel safe being themselves. Sydney’s clients often need help with big feelings, loneliness, frustration, and life’s transitions. Sydney works collaboratively with individuals and families to tailor therapy to their unique goals and needs.

Sydney welcomes children, teens, adults, and families, and has a particular passion for working with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and neurodivergent clients. She has extensive training in Child-Centered Play Therapy and those with learning challenges.

Sydney is a quick learner and able to build strong therapeutic relationship with clients of all ages. She helps her clients set meaningful, achievable goals. 

Through her previous experience working with L’Arche Seattle, Sydney developed a deep appreciation for relationship-based, inclusive care and the importance of accessibility in therapy. She is a guide for those figuring out their unique skills and overcoming challenges.

In her free time, Sydney enjoys the outdoors by hiking or swimming, and can often be found curled up inside reading or knitting. She speaks Swiss-German, and is currently learning American Sign Language, as she has always loved exploring different languages and ways people connect.

Sydney is accepting clients of all ages for telehealth and in-person sessions with clients in California. Our AMFTs like Sydney receive weekly supervision from our team of licensed supervisors.
