Jessica is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #142058). Jessica received her BA in Sociology from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Counseling from CSU East Bay.
Jessica is one of our therapists with advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy via the Feeling Good Institute and is a Level One TEAM-CBT certified therapist. She is skilled at practical solutions and effective strategies to help all ages with anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Jessica is also trained in CBT-I, an effective approach for insomnia and sleep problems.
Prior to Loyal Blue, Jessica was a school counselor. She understands the unique challenges young people encounter today. She is passionate about empowering pre-teens, teens, and young adults to navigate life’s complexities. Whether facing stress, struggling with relationships, or simply seeking to build confidence going through life changes, she provides a supportive environment to help clients thrive.
Jessica prioritizes building a strong rapport and foundation with her clients, and works well with shy, socially anxious, and introverted clients. She believes a warm and and solution-focused approach, coupled with humor and genuine care, is particularly helpful for teens and those hesitant about therapy.
Clients will develop coping skills, improve communication, and build healthy self-esteem while using evidence-based practices. Jessica’s solution-focused approach empowers clients to reach their full potential.
Outside of therapy, Jessica enjoys reading, pottery, crocheting, baking, and spending time by the water or exploring nature with her dog.
Jessica is accepting clients of all ages for telehealth and in-person sessions with clients in California.
