Loyal Blue Counseling is a private psychotherapy practice serving the Berkeley/Oakland/Piedmont and Lafayette/Moraga/Orinda/Walnut Creek area. We provide telehealth and in-person sessions and work with California residents.

We are a group of mental health professionals. We believe in giving the highest quality care to our clients. Our clients include students from middle school through college and professionals, including couples and families.

We strive to provide practical, evidence-based counseling that meet the needs of our community. We want people of all ages to feel comfortable seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, insomnia, and other common topics.

We are a solution-focused practice that uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as primary method of treatment. Other modalities are welcome, but familiarity and interest in CBT is important.

We are currently expanding to include another licensed therapist in our practice. We are accepting cover letters and resumes for:

  • Any LPC, LCSW, LMFT who has a current California License with experience working with high functioning teens and young professionals.
  • Any LPC, LCSW, LMFT who has a current California License with experience working with couples. Training in the Gottman method, Emotionally Focused therapy and Acceptance Commitment therapy a plus.
  • Associate level therapists (AMFT, APCC, ASW) may be considered in summer 2025.

We offer W-2 positions which have a high rate of hourly pay based on experience and benefits for our full time staff. Employees are paid based on billable hours performed. Our positions are full time (25 clinical hours per week) or part time (minimum 10 clinical hours per week). We offer full medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
